CAMP HAVEN MINI-CAMP SUMMER 2024
4 Nights of Extended Games Every Week
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting at 6 pm
Program begins on Monday July 1st and ends on Friday August 16th
Camp Haven Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs) are equal parts storytelling, chance, and an opportunity to explore your creativity. In Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) we create fantastical characters and dive into an adventure, whether fighting hordes of enemies in search of lost treasure, building trusting friendships, or defying the odds against horrible dungeons full of traps.
Beyond the swords and sorcery of D&D, players will be given the opportunity to explore games with diverse and exciting themes and settings - from the final frontier to raising a dragon instead of stealing their gold! They’ll even be provided the tools to create their own world of rules, adventure, and lore!
Please be sure to read the registration instructions carefully. All games need to be purchased and signed up for individually (similar to our regular game registration process), with the expectation that all games are first come, first served.
Camp Haven Mini-Camps provide an enriching camp experience that focuses on teamwork, communication, worldbuilding, and problem-solving. What exactly is the best way to face the Crystal Giant? What sort of mythical creatures exist in this plane? Perhaps there is a secret door the party did not consider? What powers and skills does each player bring to the table to face the journey ahead?
Let the games begin...
Camp Haven Mini-Camp Summer 2024 begins on Monday, July 1st.

REGISTRATION:
All games are “first signed up, first placed.” Games are to be purchased in single units (no packages). Choose games by the following categories:
Onsite
Online
Game Facilitator
Age grouping
Date/Time
Be sure to complete the registration form in full when signing up for the first game. After that, only fill in information to the question that asks if this is player’s first game and answer “no.”
Players can sign up for any number of games as they wish to participate in during the 6 weeks of mini-camp. If a player wishes to hold their spot in a specific game (for example, a Monday game for ages 9-12) they should sign up (pay and register for selected sessions) before the start of mini-camp. Open spots will be filled by other players. Maximum number of players is 6 per game.
IF PLAYERS DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ALL GAMES IN ADVANCE, PLAYERS WILL BE ASSIGNED TO GAMES BASED ON A “FIRST SIGNED UP/FIRST PLACED” BASIS.
All game facilitators are adults with at least 10 years of RPG experience.
CELL PHONE & TECH DEVICE PROTOCOL
The use of cell phones and other devices are no longer permitted without restriction during TDC games.
We have been discouraging the use of devices in the practice as we find them to be a distraction from the games and programs, as well as a distraction to other players. No devices will be allowed in games for ages 9-12.
There will be a “limited use” (at game facilitator’s discretion, and only for the use of game information) for ages 13-18. Flip phones are fine.
If your child needs to contact you, the game facilitator will provide that service, and all parents will be provided with the phone numbers of their child’s game facilitators.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, please feel free to contact Melissa Sornik directly.
IMPORTANT: THE ONLY GAMES RUNNING THIS SUMMER ARE CAMP HAVEN MINI-CAMP GAMES (AND THE SEPARATE THURSDAY ONLINE GAME FOR LONG DISTANCE PLAYERS)
WHEN YOU SIGN UP BELOW, BE SURE YOU ARE SELECTING ONE OF THE TWO MINI-CAMP CHOICES. THERE ARE NO REGULAR GAMES AND NO PACKAGES AVAILABLE BETWEEN JULY 1 AND AUGUST 9.
REGULAR GAMES WILL RESUME IN THE FALL.
